About Tree Top Theatre
In her native Sweden Sara started out at Olympia
SkolanTheatre College in Helsingborg before completing a degree in drama pedagogy at Wendelsbergs folkhogskola outside
Gothenburg. At Folkuniversitetet in Stockholm she completed an
extensive course in physical theatre and mask making before working as a
professional actor.1998 Sara graduated from L’École International de thèâtre Jacques
Lecoq in Paris. It was at Lecoq where she meet co-founder of Tree Top
Theatre, Andrew Gillard.
Sara and Andrew have since co-founded and performed with the French company
“La Filant" and collaborated and performed with Kiklos Teatro in Padova,
Italy. Sara has extensive experience of teaching drama and is a very sought after
workshop leader. Her pedagogical experience is a strong component in Tree Top
workshops.



Andrew Gillard
co-founder
Andrew Gillard has completed a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, majoring in Drama and Theatre Studies and French. During his time at Monash he was heavily involved in Monash Student theatre, performing with a range of different clubs and departments, from Shakespeare to Australia contemporary drama to Japanese Kyogen. He performed in many fringe festival shows during this period and toured Singapore before moving to Paris where he studied and graduated from L’École International de thèâtre Jacques Lecoq. Following this Andrew has worked with co-founder Sara Gregorius in France and Italy for touring theatre companies before returning to Australia, to work professionally as an Actor.
